The effort stems from a nonprofit group called “Coalition for a Safe and Secure America” which paid for ads that attacked Sens. Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Mike Braun (R-IN), as well as former Sen. Dean Heller (R-NV) and former Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT), who lost their races, during the election in 2018.
The ads were shown on Facebook, targeting residents in specific states, and accused the current and former Republican lawmakers of siding with Democrats on certain issues. Read more from Resist The Mainstream.
